He still needs some frilly neckwear and a hat, but I really need to work on my Manatee projects! :D Also, I'm still trying to figure out how to make a wig with my extreme novice knitting skillz.   Anyway, I'm planning on making a whole series of these guys, so be on the lookout!  :D

Oh yeah, all of his clothes come off (and I probably will be making other outfits.  Jeesh, with the fangirling already, right? ahah :D

The day you've all been waiting for.

Unfortunately, the pictures are washing him out and I can't figure out how to make them not. I think it's because his mouth is so light.

CONAN O'BRIEN DOLL! WHOO!

I made his clothes on the bus on the way to work yesterday. He was a big hit!

I've got more yarn and am gearing up to work on my Secret Project No. 2!

new project... again.

I have a new secret knitting project.  Finally something other than a scarf!  haha.  It's something I've never done before, and so far it's going pretty smothing.  Most important, I'm figuring out how to read a pattern, which is entirely helpful.   I'm very excited about it and have a lot of ideas for variations.  Whee!

I'm hoping to get the main part done by early this week.

I got my invite to ravelry today! whoo!

unfortunately, I have nothing to post there. haha

It's not raining, but I still don't want to go to Joanns to get the bias tape, so I'll do that tomorrow.  I'm currently hand sewing the ruffle to the neck, so, being me, that will take along time.  Then I think I'll get back to knitting.  I finished the teal scarf, but I really don't want to do another scarf, so I think I'll make a bag.  hmm

I'm about three quarters of the way done with the scarf I've been knitting.  I've only been working for about four days, but it's taking so damn long! Arrg!   Anyway, it's all wiggly along the borders and has some slight, er, holes. but the color's really pretty, so it's alright. hahaha
I still need to learn how to purl, then I'm moving onto some patterns.  Whoo!

I re-upped my 100 ICON ADD ON PURCHASE WHOO.  I mean, for two dollars, how can I not? Plus, I still haven't reached my full capacity yet, so I can't let it go now.

My kannik's korner pattern has been shipped! I can't wait to get it.

Eh, I'm still sick (though better than the past two days), and will probably post more later.  I hope I'm better tomorrow, as I'm working 12:30 to 7. eep!

don't listen to him, he's drunk on cheese!

I just offically finished making all my Christmas presents.  Ahhg, god damn am I glad it's done.  Just a few more hours... and I won't have to hear Christmas music again for a year. Yay. LOL

I got fifty dollars from my Grandpa (whoo) and I decided to put some of that toward the Kannik's Korner cape pattern and materials for the Amadeus cape.   I've kind of put off my next tattoo... indefinitely.  Perhaps I'll see if I can get my mom to go a little bit into it for my  birthday.  It's only a few months away.  I just feel like I really need to be saving up for moving- and I can always get a tattoo in Portland. Hell, you're a freak if you don't  have one up there. hahahah!
Anyway, I'm excited about the cape.  I've never used a Kannik's Korner pattern either, and I'm excited about that too.  I've heard only good reviews.

I started knitting again today.  I watched some videos on www.knittinghelp.com, and was extremely confused.  Apparently the way my mom taught me to cast on is wiggit- whack and not shown in a video.  But once I watched their confusing way of doing it, I remembered how I was orginally taught to me and it all came back.  Thanks for  nothing knitting help. : D  Now I just need to learn how to purl.

Oh yeah and PS, my new Lafayette book is WICKEDAWESOMEOMG.  What can I say, I love the redheaded freak.

PSS.  It smells like snow, even though it's sunny. MAKE UP YOUR MIND, PLANET.

great huh? hahaha.

i've taken it out about three times to get to this length. last night i was going along, watchin Cold Case, and i looked down to find that all the stitches had fallen off of one of the needles. errrg.

anyway, i'm still on my quest to find shoes. i was looking at Fugawee, but i couldn't figure out how to order...? it has to be just me. i really like their "Anna" shoe and the other one ( can't remember the name) that was dyable, but we'll have to see. i was also looking at the shoes on Townsend and Sons, and i really like those too, but they say to order a half size up, yet they have no 10 1/2. damn these big feet. i'm contemplating just ordering the size 10 and sending them back if they don't fit. sometimes nines will fit if i'm not wearing socks, which i wouldn't be. stockings are thin in comparison, so i think it'd be okay.

no decisons are being made now, though, since i'm almost officially out of money, thanks to draining my account at Joanns on Saturday. four more days 'til payday! plus i also have to buy supplies for the Historical Swap next weekend.
