This should be great, as I never watch movies. haha

Bold the ones you've seen.
Underline the ones you love.
Strike through the ones you hate.
Italicize the ones you want to see.

Rules of the Game:
A) People who have been tagged must write their answers on their blogs & replace any question that they dislike with a new question formulated by themselves.

B) Tag 8 people to do this quiz & those who are tagged cannot refuse. These people must state who they were tagged by & cannot tag the person whom they were tagged by. Continue this game by sending it to other people.

C) ENJOY?

I'm not tagging anyone specifically, since the people I would have tagged either haven't been online in ages, or is the one who tagged me!

How Many of These Have You Read?

The Big Read reckons that the average adult has only read 6 of the top 100 books they've printed. Well let's see.

1) Look at the list and bold those you have read.
2) Italicise those you intend to read.
3) Underline the books you LOVE.
4) Reprint this list in your own LJ so we can try and track down these people who've only read 6 and force books upon them :>

I"ve read 28/100.  I've wanted to read most of them, but whenever I end up at Borders, there's always a new Lafayette book tempting me...

In other book news, I went to the library today, picked out a huge stack of books, then realized I'd have to drag them all over the place, to work and then back home.  So I got only three large ones.  Plus... the ones that I really wanted are checked out at the moment. eeeep.  :)

AHAHAHAHAHA. Maybe it's the vulgar story telling...

That out of the way, I got my stays pattern in the mail today, along with History of the World, Pt. 1.  I can't believe I don't own it.  Netflix FTW.  Anyway, now all I have to do is figure out how to get to Joanns.  Or rather, find the time to get there.    Maybe Sunday.

Work was weird today.  Have to go tomorrow too at noon.  :(

What American accent do you have?
Created by Xavier on Memegen.net

Neutral. Not Northern, Southern, or Western, just American. Your national American identity is more important to you than your local identity, because you don't really have a local identity to begin with.

Take this quiz now - it's easy!
We're going to start with "cot" and "caught." When you say those words do they sound the same or different?

I always get neutral!  What the hell is wrong with me??!?!?!    Luckily, I don't speak like Southern Californians or the Eurkeans either...

Most of the books I read in high school were not what you would classically think of "high school" books. In fact, most stuff we read was out of a text book  >:(  Lame California standards.
'Tis quite a shame how unread I am.

EDIT:  After having gone through the list, the only one I was required to read in school was Catcher in the Rye.  Yeep
The following list are the top 106 books most often marked as unread by LibraryThing users.

I'm leaving for Portland on Wednesday to look for housing, open a bank account, meet the Torrid and Hot Topic managers at the Lloyd Center, and  possibly re-register to vote and make lots of sales-tax free purchases.    I most likely won't be on the internet at all when I'm up there, since my uncle's on dial up at his place and I don't want to take the laptop.   I will be getting back on the 21th (which, looking at the City Schools calendar we have, is the kick off of "EHS SPRING FEVER WEEK", hahaha).

Just an FYI.

Also, belated HAPPY BIRFDAY to Thomas Jefferson -265 yeas young!  haha

Who else totally loves the John Adams Thomas Jefferson?  I was a little bummed with the Alexander Hamilton though :(

userpic meme!

from [info]quincy134!  As she said in her post, I have a lot of userpics, and I tend to use five or six more than others.  I just love collecting them though! I wish I had photoshop to make some, but alas, I certainly don't have teh moneyz for that!

Anyway, if you want to play, comment and I'll pic 6 icons for you to post about!

kippy:  Kippy is my older cat.  She hides in the bathtub.  I don't really use this one very often, but I really like it, because, you know... kitty!

Romeo and Juliet promo:  This is from one of my favorite movies, Zeffirelli's Romeo and Juilet- well, actually it's just the kids from the movie who played Romeo and Juliet.  I have no idea why I like this one, but I love it and use it frequently!

steamkitten:  My other cat,  Kitten.  This pic was taken on Christmas, after I had gotten goggles... Clearly, she's not very happy, but very, very steampunk, no?  :)

Journey:  haha. This is one of my most recent additions to my ever growing userpic collection.  It's from Journey's "Separate Ways" video.  I don't know why they decided it was a good idea to glue a keyboard to the wall, but it was the '80s, so...

louis:  Louis! My favorite character from my favorite movie!  I just think he was like a giant, adorable muppet.

andrae: I really needed a Project Runway, and I can't say no to Andrae.  He was either beyond words gasping (like in the userpic) or beyond words sobbing.  He was crazy, and I think he really sums up the entire show perfectly.  Especially Santio Rice's story of him and Tim rendezvousing at Red Lobster.

:)

Everyone has things they blog about. Everyone has things they don't blog about. Challenge me out of my comfort zone by telling me something I don't blog about, but you'd like to hear about, and I'll write a post about it. Ask for anything: latest movie watched, last book read, political leanings, thoughts on religion, favorite type of underwear, random techniques, etc. Repost in your own journal so that we can all learn more about each other!

I have to confess that I haven't asked any questions on anyone else's, but I have such a hard time thinking of questions!  Errg.

My Prince jacket/costume took so much time, I haven't made any progress on the swaps.  I need to get on that!
Anyway, our "rockstar" day was a semi-success. I thought my costume was good, but one of the stupid sales associates (whom I strongly dislike for a vary of reasons) kept insisting I looked like Elton John.  Lame.  Whatev.   hahah.

Which Swinging Sixties 60's Chick Are You...? (Detailed results.... UPDATED IMPROVED PICTURES!)

You are Mary Quant...A fashion icon. Without you there would have been no mod look. Although some people say you *didn't* invent the mini-skirt, what you certainly did was to bring it to the masses and kept the prices affordable. The biggest difference you made to fashion in the 60's was to take the "snobbery" out of clothes... you wanted EVERYBODY to be able to wear your fashions, and you are credited with "inventing" the teenager.... You wanted clothes to be fun, affordable and equalising. You are deeply artistic and creative, although you have your feet firmly on the ground.... and you have a happy secure home life.Starting out from scratch, you are the original hard working woman. Determined, creative and stubborn, you WILL succeed in what you desire. Not happy to compromise, if something isn't right, you'll do it YOUR way, thanks very much! You count Beatles, Rolling Stones, actors, actresses and other legends among your customers... And you are still designing today. You are the hippiest designer of all time. I am ever in your debt!
